Licensee Complaints
The first step to take.
Once it has been determined if you have a case, then the case is bought to the Australian Financial Services licensee in the hopes that it can be resovled with them.
Australian Financial Complaints Authority (AFCA) Lodgements
The second step.
If the licensee does not engage to solve the complaint or does not believe you have a valid case then we lodge a complaint with AFCA.
Compensation Scheme of Last Resort (CSLR) Lodgements
The final option.
If AFCA determine that your complaint is valid they will issue a determination for the licensee to pay. If the licensee cannot pay then the matter can be taken to the CSLR as a last resort.
